This was so easy to make and it was incredible tasting. I brought it to a 4th of july party and it was gone within 5 minutes!! I added raspberries to the fruit on top and I also drizzled melted semi sweet, milk chocolate and white chocolate on top. It was beautiful and delicious! I will definitely make again.

I orignially printed this recipe (or one by the same name) from very best baking in 2002. Rather than dig for my old one I printed a new one and realized that it no longer has the glaze listed! So, for those of you who like more chocolate- drizzle a chocolate chip glaze over the top.

I absolutely loved this torte. I brought it to a dinner party and everyone absolutely loved it. The torte is pretty rich, but the fruit on top makes it lighter. I also melted some chocolate chips in the microwave and drizzled it on top of the whip cream and fruit, it looked like a masterpiece!
